The reservation allows to enter, by land and for free, the public bathing area (B Zone)

in the Marine Protected Area Gaiola Underwater Park

REGULATION

​

Access rules to the area:

​

1. Access is permitted only and exclusively by online reservation;

2. It is possible to reserve only for a single time slot (morning, from 9:00 a.m. –to 1:00 p.m. or afternoon from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.), in order to allow more visitor access safely;

3. For each time slot, it is permitted the access to a maximum of 200 people;

4. Reservation is just for adults (over 18 years old); under 18s can enter only if accompanied by an adult;

5. Each reservation can be made for a maximum of 5 people (including 1 adult at least), by entering the required data (name, surname, state of birth, date of birth, email, phone number, foreign identity code, home state);

6. The pdf file of the ticket must be downloaded at the end of the reservation process;

7. Each visitor can enter for a maximum of 3 times per week (from Monday to Sunday);

8. It is possible to delete the reservation within the beginning of the reserved time slot (9:00 a.m. / 2:00 p.m.), through the link received in the booking confirmation email;

9. If people do not come and do not delete their reservation, they are not allowed to reserve and to access the area for the next 15 days;

10. Reservations open every day, valid for the current day and the next day. It is possible to reserve up to 1 hour before the end of each time slot;

11. Visitors must show the access ticket - by phone or printed - to the security staff at the entrance gate of the Park;

12. Each visitor must show a valid and personal identity document and identity code;

13. At the end of each time slot (1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.), visitors have to leave the area promptly;  

14. It is strictly forbidden to park vehicles on the road Discesa Gaiola.

Norms of environmental safeguard

​

1. Visitors must know and respect the norms for the environmental and archaeological preservation of the Marine Protected Area Gaiola Underwater Park envisaged by the Interministerial Decree  07/08/2002 available at the following website: www.areamarinaprotettagaiola.it;

2. It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to introduce disposable packages (plastic bottles, glass bottles, cans, disposable plastic, etc.);

3. It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to leave in the area any kind of waste. Waste must be taken away and disposed in the appropriate bins on the public road;

4. It is forbidden to fish and/or pick up any kinds of vegetal or animal organism;

5. It is forbidden to pick up archaeological remains and/or rocks;

6. Smokers must collect the stubs in a appropriate pocket ashtray.

Any failures by visitors to comply with the provisions specified in this regulation will result in the impossibility to reserve for the following two weeks, including the notification to the competent authorities.
